I don't tolerate companies like Alive and will consider putting a campaign
out against them just as soon as I've finished the contract I'm currenlty
working on. (Nothing major, just publishing people's comments on them and
warning people about them).
A few years ago I replied to one of their advertisements for the possibility
of publishing deals with them. After filling in their "developer
questionnaire/application form" with details of my software for kids I got
only an acknowledgement of receipt of the form. A few months later Alive
announced a Children's Software package, using phrases remarkably similar to
my own. Nothing came of it but I wasn't chuffed.
Ho hum. That was some time ago now.
